My Friends,

A year ago today you elected me to the Carrboro Town Council, making me the first openly gay elected Latino official in North Carolina. That was nothing less than a testament to our town's progressive values and commitment to inclusivity. Our partnership is built on trust, and together, we have shown that we can overcome barriers and break new ground for a more diverse and equitable future. So today I am happy to announce that  I will seek reelection in this upcoming election!

I am proud to be an openly gay Millennial Latino, son of migrant farmworkers, who has dedicated my professional, and a great deal of my personal life to fight for our communities. Last year ago we made history together! With your unwavering support, we will continue our efforts to transform our town to make Carrboro a Home for All.
